How we evaluate a tool
We install it, use it on a real WordPress site, and record what happened. Where we have not tested something ourselves, we say so rather than implying we did.
What goes in every review
- What it actually costs, including renewal pricing
- What it does well, specifically
- Where it breaks. Every tool has a failure mode, and a review without one is marketing.
- Who should not buy it
Our own product
We build ClearPost. Where we cover it, we label it on that page and hold it to the same standard as every other tool, including its limits. We do not give it an easier review because we own it.
Corrections
If we publish something wrong, we fix it and note the change rather than quietly editing.
Affiliate links
Some outbound links earn us a commission. They never determine placement, rating, or whether a tool is covered at all. See our FTC Disclosure.
